Association El Badr

El Badr is a non-profit association created in 2006 on the initiative of citizens of Blida, including several doctors, to provide comprehensive support to cancer patients in the wilaya. Its services include psychological support for patients and their families, assistance in obtaining medication and blood bags, coverage of transport costs to treatment centers, and awareness actions on prevention and early detection. The association employs over 15 people and mobilizes many volunteers. It has a website (badrblida.net) and an active Facebook page. Recognized for its social innovation, it is the subject of academic studies on its impact on cancer care in Algeria.
