Association d'Aide aux Handicapés Mentaux de Mostaganem

The Association d'Aide aux Handicapés Mentaux de Mostaganem (AAHM) is one of the oldest and most structured associations in western Algeria. Founded in 1974, it provides educational, social, and psychological care for people with mental disabilities, from childhood through adulthood. It manages reception and specialized education facilities, and works closely with families and local institutions to ensure the inclusion and dignity of the people it supports.
